2018 Summer Reading Challenge
“Libraries Rock!”
June 9 through August 18, 2018

Family Movie Night, Wednesdays, 6pm, June 13 – August 15 Movie listing and registration information.

Wednesday, July 11, 2018, Peter Rabbit (PG) –The stubborn and naughty Peter Rabbit causes chaos in the home and garden of an irritable human named Mr. McGregor. However, their rivalry grows even more heated when they both fall in love with a new neighbor who adores animals.

Children – read to earn a medal and participate in one (or more!) of our great programs

Read your way to a Bronze, Silver, or Gold medal.  Here’s how:

Beginning Saturday, June 9, 2018 – register in the Children’s Department to receive your reading calendar.

Mark the days you READ or LISTEN to books for 30 minutes or more on your calendar.

Bring your calendar to the Library to earn a coupon for a free DVD rental every time you have read for 10 days. (Remember, Fridays are 2 DVDs for 1 coupon.)

Attend a program and a staff member will mark off an extra day of reading on your calendar.

Bring your calendar to the Library between August 9 and September 6 to receive a Bronze Medal if you have read for at least 20 days, a Silver Medal if you have read for at least 40 days, or a  Gold Medal if you have read for 60 or more days between June 10 and August 19.
