Book up for discussion is Anita Brookner’s Hotel du Lac (place a hold on a copy here).  Book list for February and March 2018: WCPL Wed. Book Group – Feb-March 2018  The title for March 2018 is the 2018 Longwood Gardens Community Reads selection, Lab Girl, by Hope Jahren.
No registration necessary; bring a brown bag lunch. Everyone welcome!

Teens & Tweens Tuesday – every Tuesday afternoon, 3:30pm-5:00pm for ages 11-14.
A place to hang out, have a snack, play a board game, make a craft. Bring a friend!

Quilting@the Library – making “Quilts for Kids”,  for dates and times see below:     party
Next meetings: February 28, and March 28, 2018, 1:pm – 4:30pm.  Join in for an afternoon of fun (bring a friend!) transforming fabric into quilts that comfort children in need:  children fighting a life battle with an illness as well as children of abuse.  All that is needed is your sewing talent, your sewing machine (if you can bring one), quilting gear like rotary cutter, mat, pins, etc. and the desire to help a child in need.
Experienced machine quilters can pick up a kit to make a quilt at home filling it with lots of love as they sew and returning the completed quilt at a future meeting.  Want to learn more about quilting? This is a great time to practice and get tips from experienced quilters.

Knitter’s, Crocheter’s, and Handspinner’s Meet-ups – next meet-up Saturday, February 17, 2018
These informal meet-ups happen on the third or fourth Saturday of the month, 1pm – 4pm.  Be sure to check the events calendar for upcoming dates. No registration needed.  Just bring your latest project and spend the afternoon crafting and chatting with other fiber-enthusiasts.
