Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
The Teen Advisory Board is a group of Teens (Grades 6-12) who meet at the library to discuss event ideas, suggest titles for the library, and enjoy hanging out in the library. Any teen in grades 7-12 is welcome to join in! The TAB meets on the first Monday of every month from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM in the library. Snacks are provided.

- November 1, 2010 at 4:30 PM
- Tentative: December 6, 2010 at 4:30 PM
TAB Purpose:
- The purpose of the WCPL TAB shall be:
- To encourage, promote, and publicize teen services and reading at West Chester Public Library
- To plan and implement teen events
- To help the library create an inviting, appealing, and safe place for teens
- To advocate the rights of teens
Membership
- Membership is open to any student in Grades 7-12 (ages 13-18).
- Provisional membership is for those age 12, but will turn 13 in their 6th or 7th grade year.
- Membership ends when a teen has graduated high school.
To Become a Member:
- Attend 2 meetings in a row.
- Read the membership guidelines.
TAB Member Duties
- Volunteer to help at library programs and in the library as needed.
- Volunteer a minimum of 3 hours OR regular volunteer hours at the library in the summer.
- Be a representative of West Chester Public Library in the community.
