Information Resources and Databases
The Chester County Library System subscribes to a number of online resources for your research and information needs (look here when the search engine fails you!).
Topics include Business , Health , Auto Repair, Science, Biography, Children’s Resources and many others. Select a database by topic for quick access – some are available for you to use from home; for others you will need to visit the library. All are clearly marked as to their availability.

Better than a search engine… Internet Public Library
A great place to find web links on all sorts of topics; those links are vetted by librarians to ensure they are the best possible sources on a particular topic.

A good question. The IPL is many things:
- the first public library of and for the Internet community
- an experiment, trying to discover and promote the most effective roles and contributions of librarians to the Internet and vice versa
- a group of highly talented, creative, strong-willed people, working hard
