Re-Purposed-Book Art Contest - entries accepted May 1 – 31, 2013.
As part of the library’s 125th anniversary celebrations, we’re holding a Re-purposed-Book Art Contest. Create a piece of art out of an old book and enter it in our contest – judging will take place by ballot during the June 8th block party. More about the contest: Repurposed Book Art Contest Rules
Support the WCPL Children’s Department : Usborne Book Fair… Purchase books for your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, or any child you know through the library’s online Usborne eFair and the library will receive free books from Usborne. Coming in June: WCPL’s 125th Anniversary Block Party! Come celebrate WCPL’s 125 years at the corner of North Church and Lafayette Streets in the Borough. Children’s Guitar Seminar: Join us at the library on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 10:30-11:15 am for a fun guitar workshop for children ages 6-12. Children will be able to learn about the different types of guitars, what they can gain from learning how to play the instrument, and much more! Kids’ Lego Club… Next session – Monday, June 10, 6:30-7:30pm.
The Junior Lego Club for Kids ages 5-7 – next meeting Monday, June 24, 2013, 6:30-7:30pm (no meeting in May). Child must be accompanied by a caregiver.
